Mitre x Steve Bracknall

WHAT WAS ASKED?

Mitre needed to show up online to its community. They wanted a modern, culturally relevant ambassador that also embodied the brand’s heritage.

WHAT WE DID

We brought in Steve Bracknall — a mate of ours and one of the internet’s great football characters — as the face of the brand on a two-year deal.

Things escalated quickly.

We broke the announcement with Versus, took Bracknall to the FA Cup Final, had him front the launch of Football Manager and transported the partnership into America, too.

OUTCOME

The line between Bracknall and the brand started getting blurry — which was kind of the point.

Less “talent partnership”, more cultural crossover.

That’s usually where the best stuff happens.
