MITRE x FA CUP BALL LAUNCH CAMPAIGN
WHAT WAS ASKED?
Launch the 2025/26 Emirates and Adobe Women’s FA Cup match balls with a fresh approach, while staying true to the history and significance of the competition.
WHAT WE DID?
Paired the new balls with their respective trophies at a Liverpool studio. Creative direction covered photography and motion, focusing on texture, detail and atmosphere. The work was rooted in the reality of the FA Cup and the presence of the trophy itself, rather than over-polished performance imagery. The studio footage was cut with carefully selected archive footage, while emotive voiceovers from our mates John ‘The Rev’ McClure and Roukaya B captured the essence of the competition.
OUTCOME?
A clear visual language used consistently across Mitre’s FA Cup output, reinforcing the brand’s authority within the competition and driving widespread digital coverage for the product launch.
